Connect Your Payment Processors

Insights sits on top of our comprehensive data intelligence platform. The first step to unlocking insights in your own payments data is to connect your current payment processor to our platform so we can see your transaction and order data. We have specific guides to help you connect your payment processor to Pagos; you’ll find links to these guides in our Connecting Your Payment Processors to Pagos guide. While you are in control of how much data you send us, we recommend sending at least 3 months so we can correctly show a full context of what is happening on any given day.

Use the main navigation to move between the following Insights pages:
  • Home - Get a glimpse into your payments performance by reviewing key payments metrics including approval rate, total transaction count and value, and average order value; see the total or percent change in these metrics from the current time period to the previous
  • Metrics - Dig deep into your approvals, declines, chargebacks, disputes, and refunds with data-driven filtering; visualize your data broken down by processor, MID, payment method, and more, and click on individual parameters to view key metrics for the associated transactions
  • Snapshots - Customize your own dashboard of payments data visualizations designed by our team of payments experts
  • Charts - Build completely customized data visualizations
  • Opportunities - Identify the segments of your transaction volume for which opportunities exist to lower your payment processing costs
  • Risks - Monitor data relevant to risk management, chargebacks, and fraud
  • Costs - View your total fee and invoice data broken down by category, subcategory, and the primary dimensions associated with costs data (e.g. payment method, processor, etc.); depending on your processor, you can even dig into your effective rate across different verticals and the breakdown of the Interchange & Assessment fees your business faces each month.
  • Pagos AI - Powered by AI, this chat interface can help you with all your payments data needs. Ask basic questions about the payments industry or the Pagos suite of products, and even request summaries or custom graphs of your own payments data! To use Pagos AI, contact your account manager to request access.
  • BIN Data - Identify the top BINs associated with payment cards you’ve processed. Note this page is in the Data Enrichment section of the main navigation.
  • Custom Data - View aggregated metrics on the soft descriptors and metadata you pass with your transactions. Note this page is in the Data Enrichment section of the main navigation.
