Pagos AI Application Areas

Pagos AI has four primary application areas:

Product Support

Help users navigate the Pagos Insights platform and understand available features and tools

Payments Education

Define payments concepts and explain industry changes (e.g. Visa CEDP, interchange categories)

Insight Generation

Identify trends, shifts, and anomalies in payments performance with actionable recommendations

Pagos AI Best Practices

To get the most out of Pagos AI, we suggest following these best practices:
  • Be specific - Include relevant dimensions, time periods, and filters in your questions (e.g. What is my approval rate for Visa credit card transactions in Q1?)
  • Verify important insights - Cross-check critical findings using direct data views in Pagos Insights
  • Ask for clarification - If Pagos AI makes assumptions, ask it to explain its reasoning
  • Report issues - Contact Pagos Support if you encounter incorrect information or unexpected behavior
  • Use appropriate features - For transaction exports or raw data, use the appropriate platform tools rather than asking the AI

  • Which decline code from the last 7 days have I not seen this year to date?
  • Compare my average approval rate for the last 30 days to the 30 days before; what changed?
  • What decline code from an initial transaction has the highest success rate upon retry (year-to-date)?
