Peacock Changelog (May 16, 2023)

As of May 16, 2023, we've released the following changes to the Peacock Service Panel:

Chart updates

  • Added a new chart to the Refunds dashboard titled Payment Method Refunds. It contains the following sub-charts:
    • Share of Refunded Transaction Count by Payment Method - The total number of refunded transactions in the set time period, broken down by payment method
    • Share of Refunded Transaction Value by Payment Method - The total value of all refunded transactions in the set time period, broken down by payment method; refunded transaction value appears in your business's operating currency
    • Payment Method Refunded Transaction Count - The number of refunds you processed—both in total and per payment method.
    • Payment Method Refunded Transaction Value - The value of refunds you processed—both in total and per payment method—in the set time period, broken down by the selected time interval
  • Added two new sub-charts to the Top 25 BINs by Refund Volume chart in the Refunds dashboard:
    • Top 25 BINs by Refund Count by Original Transaction Date: The top 25 BINs of the cards you processed refunds for, given the refunded transaction originated in the set time period. BINs are listed in descending order of refund count, and each row includes the issuing bank name, approval rate, total transaction count, and refund rate for each BIN.
    • Top 25 BINs by Refund Value by Original Transaction Date: The top 25 BINs of the cards you processed refunds for, given the refunded transaction originated in the set time period. BINs are listed in descending order of refunded value, and each row includes the issuing bank name, approval rate, total transaction value, and refund rate for each BIN.
  • Added a new chart to the Costs dashboard: Effective Rate. This chart displays your effective fee rate (your total fee amount divided by total sale amount), demonstrated over the set time period.
    • By default, the total sale amount includes only the total processed transaction amount
    • Click the Refunds icon to include refunds in your sale amount calculation (i.e. subtract the total refund value from your total transaction value)
    • Click the Chargeback icon to include disputed transactions in your sale amount calculation (i.e. subtract the total chargeback value from your total transaction value)
  • There are now three options when downloading ‌data from any chart in Peacock:
    • Raw Data - The raw data imported from the merchant’s payment processors and displayed in the given chart
    • Aggregated Data - The data displayed in the given chart after we aggregated and cleaned up the merchant’s raw data
    • Chart - A PNG image file of the given chart

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug in the following sub-charts where the Select All checkbox was missing from the chart’s legend:
    • Payment Method Transaction Value sub-chart under the Payment Method Transactions chart (Payment Method dashboard)
    • Turnover and Average Order Value chart (Home dashboard)
    • Processor Approval Rate and Approved Transaction Count sub-chart under the Processor Approvals chart (Processor dashboard)
  • Fixed an issue causing the Stored Credential Approvals chart to show errors whenever you switched between sub-charts (Stored Credentials dashboard)
