Peacock Changelog (December 29, 2022)

We've completed a full redesign of the way charts are organized in Peacock dashboards. Please take a minute to click through the Peacock Service Panel to see the new designs! At a high level, dashboards are now organized to show transaction data first, then approval data, decline code data, and any other specific valuable views.

The main changes are as follows:

  • Some charts are now broken down into a series of sub-charts. These sub-charts display relevant data through different lenses. Now, every chart will at least display both count and value information.
    • For example, under Aggregated Chargebacks in the Home dashboard, there are now two sub-charts: Chargeback Rate and Count and Chargeback Rate and Value. Click the subtitles to open a drop-down menu and navigate between the two sub-charts.
  • We updated the following Standard dashboard names:
  • We've added a new switcher icon to most of the Peacock charts called the absolute/distribution switcher. Clicking this switcher allows you to change whether a chart depicts the absolute count or value associated with each variable, or the percent distribution of data among the variables. Follow along with these steps for an example of how this switcher works:
  1. Navigate to the Home dashboard of your Peacock Service Panel.
  2. Go to the Payment Method Transactions chart and use the subtitle drop-down menu to choose the Payment Method Transaction Count sub-chart.
  3. By default, the switcher is set to Absolute on every chart. As such, this chart shows the total number of transactions you processed in each time interval, both in total and per payment method (e.g. 8,000 card transactions and 2,000 PayPal Wallet transactions). Notice the y-axis of the chart shows the transaction count.
  4. Using the switcher, click Distribution. The y-axis change to display percentages (0-100%) and the stacked bars all shift to show the percentage breakdown per payment method in each time interval of your total transaction count (e.g. 80% card and 20% PayPal Wallet)
